I cut petals out of fabric, sprayed them with a little water and roughed them up, stacked them and sewed them together.
Then I stuck a little treasure in the middle: a button, cameo, old earring. I affixed them to an alligator clip with some hot glue. 
Then I clipped them onto a headband I made by braiding strips of fabric and adding a little piece of elastic.
