Cleaning Calendar

Have you used Microsoft Publisher? This used to go totally unused by me, but once I got bored and played aroung in there a little while and now I'm crazy about it! I use it to make fliers for church events and calendars, among various other things.

I made a cleaning calendar a few months ago and thought I'd post it for you to see. It's really pretty simple. Sit down and decide how often each chore needs done. What works for us might not work for you. Then play around with which days to schedule each chore. I like to space it all out so there are just a few things to do each day, but you might like to get everything done in a couple days and have the rest off! We also do things when they're needed in between what's scheduled. Then I put the chores in different colors so they're easy to see at a glance.

I'm all for being organized. I'll have to play around with that program, too. It's just sitting here on my computer. :)

I had to edit a very long document at school that someone designed in publisher and let me tell you, it was a real pain. Took me forever. I think it is good for simple documents as you mentioned, but would forego use of it for lengthy stuff. Every month, I say I am gonna get a routine down pat -- each day of the week will be one room of total cleaning, so that by the time the weekend rolls around, I won't have much to do. Problem is, I just never stick with it! Some days I really just don't want to clean anything. :( Best wishes to you, Tammy
