Believe it or not, in all the hustle and bustle, I found a few minutes to throw together a Christmas mantle! I used a few things I've gotten on after-Christmas clearance the past couple years and added in some handmade decorations.
If you're on the Tennessee Mantle Hop and stopping by from The Scrap Shoppe, welcome! Check out the link at the bottom to continue on! :)
There's the book page pom wreath that I made here. Plus some Zaney Jane's stockings! Some glittery words scavenged from a few different stores, a couple of ornaments sprinkled in, some from the dollar store, some vintage.
I whipped up this tree by wrapping some red felt around a styrofoam tree form and then wrapping some shabby fray flower trim on top of that. I secured it with straight pins so I can disassemble (does anyone else think of Johnny 5 every time they hear that word?) it later and use it for something else.
You'll never guess what I used to make the Santa hat tree! A styrofoam tree form and a Santa hat! You guessed it? Not that difficult, I suppose! :)
Y'all have a Merry Christmas!
To continue on in the Tennessee Mantle Hop and see some other fabulous mantles, head on over to Deneen's at DreamingInColor!
