Here We Go!

Well Hello! I suppose the best way to kick this off is to tell a little about myself and why I'm here. I love to craft. There are two ways I go about doing this: the first is to immerse myself in what I'm doing for a day or two until I'm finished. The second is to start the project, put it down, then pick it back up months later and finish it. I'll try anything once. I think that people who say they can't craft don't try. Or else they're impatient. Don't get me wrong, I'm an impatient person, but patience pays off when crafting. Am I right? I try to restrain myself, but every time I see something I think I can do, I run out and buy all the supplies and do the project, then usually put them away to move on to another craft. As a result, I wouldn't really call myself advanced at anything, but I've got enough crafting supplies to fill an entire closet and then some.

I love to knit, sew, quilt, papercraft (collage & folding), make jewelry & hair bows and reconstruct. I can't crochet to save my life. I also love to throw tea parties.

I'm married to a wonderful man, no kids yet. In my twenties, have a degree in Speech Comm/Theatre, own a house and sell promotional products. I love Jesus and am very active in my church. In addition to crafting/church/full-time job, I am hoping to be doing some more stage managing in the future. I did it a lot in college and loved it. I can't wait to have kids one day, but want to enjoy this time with my husband being able to travel and sleep in on Saturdays.

My ultimate dream is to one day own a little gift shop that is stocked completely with handmade gifts.

As for this blog, I'll post my own projects, hopefully some tutorials and definitely fun crafted things I find around the web. So stay tuned!
