Daniel has been wanting rocking chairs for.eh.ver. A couple weekends ago, I finally gave in. (Just kidding - I wanted them, too!) After stopping by and/or calling 3 different Wal-Marts, who mysteriously had only black rocking chairs (which are apparently SO popular, right?) we stopped by Lowe's and found the last two remaining white rocking chairs. One was the display, so they put the second one together for free. Woot!
We've been enjoying Country Time lemonade while relaxing and rocking.
And you would not believe the number of fireflies at night. It's magical.
Remember this little planter? Found it a home! Do you ever get downright giddy when you find a perfect spot for something? I've had the table forever. It's my first furniture make-over attempt. It was an avocado green that I spray painted white and stamped with flowers. It works in the space. The bird was a Dollar Tree find that I spray painted with Oil-Rubbed Bronze. The nest is not the same one the baby birds were in, but the one built in the other fern.
So, if you're wondering where I'm spending all my time, this is where you'll find me!

I have the same rockers but in brown....I just wish I had some fireflies to go with them!
