Anthro Inspired Tinsel Ornaments: Craft Lightning

I am so excited to be joining The Country Chic Cottage and 30 Minute Crafts for Craft Lightning with a holiday craft YOU can do in less than 15 minutes!

I saw some gorgeous tinsel ornaments over at Anthropologie and thought I can make those!!

These are so simple.  I have an easy version and a REALLY FREAKIN EASY version.  Let's start with the easy version.  Here's what you'll need:

clear glass ornaments

permanent glue dots

glitter

tinsel garland

Take the cap off your ornament. Don't hurt yourself. ;)

Add glue dots all over the ornament and then press each dot into a pile of glitter.  Make sure you get good coverage!

Cut a length of tinsel garland and twist the ends together to create a ball.  Pop your tinsel ball through the ornament opening and replace the cap!

Now for the RFE version!  You will need:

clear glass glittered ornament (this was less than $2 from WalMart)

tinsel garland (about $1, also from WalMart)

Remove the cap from the ornament.  Then cut a length of tinsel garland and stick it straight down in the ornament and replace the cap. See? SO EASY.
