Some of you may have noticed the new button on my sidebar over to the left. I would like to tell you a little about that.
I belong to a group of women who all were due in May 2011. We grew very close throughout our pregnancies and deliveries and have remained close to this day.
Our friend Nikki had her little boy, Collins a little over a week after I had Baby E. 37 hours later, they lost him unexpectedly due to a very rare lung condition. You can read more about Nikki and why we chose clovers
here. Through her grief, she has started an
organization to provide hats to NICUs and photographers with
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.
Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep was there for her family to capture Collins in professional pictures for them to cherish forever. Our group of moms wanted to do something for Nikki in memory of Collins and so we got together to create
Clovers for Collins to help raise money in memory of Collins for NILMDTS so they can continue to touch the lives of families affected by infant loss. Now through March 17th, we will be exchanging a variety of clovers for a $5 donation. All proceeds will go to NILMDTS in memory of Collins on March 18th (Collins's 10 month birthday).
